Brian Van Liew
Mr. Van Liew has been mentoring Team 1403 for the past 3 years. He helps the team's young minds understand how to approach problems, while keeping it simple. Mr. Van Liew is an Engineer experienced in CAD prototyping Opto-Mechanical and Electrical systems.
Robert W. High
Mr. High has been mentoring Team 1403 for the past 7 years. He is committed to helping kids with the robot design and the implementation of the Mechanical and Electrical systems of the FIRST Robot. Mr. High is an Engineer experienced in Mechanical, Electrical and Civil Engineering.
David Kazan
Mr. Kazan has been mentoring Team 1403 for several years. He is a great asset, helping the team from satisfying hungry team members on Saturday meetings to helping team members become successful leaders. Mr. Kazan has been the main volunteer behind planning and setting up Monty Madness for the past 3 years.
Patricia Leicht
Mrs. Leicht (Team Mom) has been involved with FIRST for 10 years as a team Mentor. She has been with Team 1403 for the past 3 years and is involved with the administration part of the team. She is employed by Hamon Research-Cottrell as an Admin to the Director of Procurement.
Tim Leicht
Mr. Leicht has been involved with FIRST as a team mentor for the last 10 years. In 2006-2007 he came to Montgomery High School as a technology teacher and became the Team 1403 advisor. In 2007 Mr. Leicht was named the NJ Regional Woody Flowers Award winner. Before coming to Montgomery High School, he was employed as a plant manager of a specialty machine shop for 29 years.
